After the face recognition system, Canon is working to something new: the Blink Shot technology. This Blink Shot will not let you take the picture until everybody’s eyes are open. I made a litle research on the internet, and noticed that most people don’t find this feature very useful, but I think therea are some cases where the Blink Shot could be helpful. A while ago, I making photos for some schools and kindergartens, and when there was 2,3 or more kids in the frame..well, I was missing a blink shot thing like this. Of course, if you’re shooting candids this feature would really make you miss the moment. I’m sure that this feature, be have on/off seting. I wonder if it works on animals, if yes this will be great for my cat.

We don’t know when the Blink Shot will be available, but here is another thing that Canon is preparing: A Smile Shot !
